Our Unlocking Service

If you are currently using your mobile phone with one service provider such as Vodafone or Orange, then chances are your phone is 'locked' to that service provider, meaning you cannot use the same handset on another network. Most mobile phones when purchased new either on a Prepay or Postpay contract will arrive 'locked' to a specific network, this will prevent the handset from operating on other networks including networks abroad. In order to use a locked phone on a network other than that which it is locked to, a procedure known as 'unlocking' will have to be performed on the handset.  Depending on the make and model of the phone, the unlocking procedure can be as simple as entering a special unlock code into the handset or as complex as internally manipulating the hardware in the handset, the latter will usually need to be performed by a competent engineer with specialized expensive hardware.
